Is the fingerings for a Open-hole flute different than fingerings for a Closed-hole flute?

  1. Essentially, the fingerings are the same. BUT - you have more possibilities for tone-shading, etc.  A Bo foot also gives you more possibilities - as does a split E key, a C# trill key (or a G?A trill key).  Best fingering charts?  www.wfg.woodwind.org
