Is the first ammendment still adhered to ?

It is supposed to guarantee freedom of expression and opinion; But shortly after 9/11, CNN, NBC, ABC, CBS and Fox News Channel all censored news articles from the air.

As terrorism is now seen as ever- present. How do we know if our news is censored on a continual basis ?

I see there is a similar thing happening in Beijing with the olympics.

At what point do protestors become terrorists ?

The first amendment is alive and well.

Protesters become terrorists when

they murder, start riots, and interfere

with the everyday living of others.

Yes the first amendment is gone. Freedom of speech was taken away from people like Phil Donahue who had the highest ratings on MSNBC and spoke out against the war- he was fired, why. NBC owns MSNBC and General Electric owns them both and General Electric is a defense contractor...who knows that war is good for business.
