  1. The flight would be entirely within the United Kingdom so, yes, it is a domestic flight.

  2. Yes it is considered a domestic flight because Belfast, the capitol of Northern Ireland is part of the UK. It is the same as flying between any city on the UK mainland.

No passport is necessary but you usually have to have some form of identification, such as a drivers licence with a photo on it.

It is also currently allowed to fly from the UK to Southern Ireland as if it was a domestic flight because of the agreements in place between the British and Southern Irish governments. This is due to change next year though and you will then probably have to travel by passport.

  3. Of course it is, it's within the UK, isn't it?

The same reason a flight between London and Glasgow or Cardiff is.

  8. It is within the UK so it is a domestic flight. You  don't need a passport but the airline will require photo id such as a passport or driving licence when you check in.

  9. It is considered a domestic flight as both cities are in the United Kingdom.

A passport is not needed, you do however need photographic id. Airlines such as Ryanair and easyjet require photo id for domestic flights so although a passport is not needed you may use it for id purposes.

From easyjet website: The airline requires all passengers to provide photographic ID at check-in on all flights including domestic services. Passengers who use the online check-in service will be required to provide photographic ID at the security gate and again at the boarding gate.
