  1. The Operating System does not matter.

    You need to convert the video from its very highly compressed state to something iMovie can use.

    Read the page.

    Download and install.

    Copy the video files from the camera.

    Open with StreamClip; export as .mov

    Launch iMovie and drag the clip you just converted to the clips pane or the timeline.
