two days ago I warned my friends on yahoo answers about a link which is posted as a answer, and results into a virus attack on your computer, several of you answered they were having the same problem, yahoo removed the warning and gave me a violation of email, worse yet you can not appeal violations anymore.

  1. We had that in senior cat. and country music cat. also, the worst week in three years, with all this high tech. you would think they could prevent that from happening.

  2. i think you should post the question ENCOURAGING people to click the link. I bet you won't get violated

  3. Thank you ,you helped me.

  4. Yes I saw your warning. Thanks. You are still able to appeal, but you must do it within 7 days of receiving the violation notice. Type the URL in, if you don't trust the link. lol.

  5. Dear Scrooge, The Violations are the result of two or more whiny individuals who didn't like you answer or warning. YAHOO police don't even read the violations or make a determination until they are challenged. And NOW even that option has been taken away by YAHOO. If you attempt to respond to their violation warning your response is trashed by MAILER-DAEMON, so the lazy twits a YAHOO Central don't even have to respond to your challenge.

As for the two 'dings' by the unwashed masses, it was probably the person who posted the spam-scam-virus since most of those scum carry multiple user names. YAHOO needs to get it's $hit together and go after the spam and leave us listers alone...

I may not agree with everything you post, but I will defend your right to post it...

  6. all you need to have a violation is 2 people clicking the link. if you made yourself sound like a douche about it, I can see why people would want to report you.

  7. Yahoo is certainly hosed right now. These "improvements"...aren't.
