  1. I went on the Holiday (oldest and smallest of it's fleet).  I ate until I thought I was going to pop.

None of their food was bad.

    The dinners were AWESOME!!!

I made myself use the steps everywhere I went because I knew if I didn't, I wouldn't be able to get into my work clothes when I got home.

With the dinner you have-----Starter, Salad, Main Course, Dessert and you are served bread throughout.  I'm the kind of person who can't stand to waste food (I'm not a cow either--lol) so I would eat everything.  I would be almost sick by the time I got to my room but it was the best food.

I wanted to bring some back home with me--lol.

Oh and their fruit is great.  I'm a fruit eater and I loved the fresh sliced fruit.  And they had a pizza bar that was open any time so if you wanted to snack you could just grab a piece of pizza or a whole pizza.  It was great.

    Have fun!!~~~~

  2. DELICIOUS im a picky eater is soo devine and im only  11 so its really amaxing in my point of few plus you get entertainment also like the waiters and waitresses dance and clap and you can join them!

  3. The renowned chef Georges Blanc is the signature chef for Carnival, which means several of the food offerings have been designed/created by him -- and are excellent.

Carnival also has made it a priority for the past year, to improve the quality of its cuisine by offering more creative, diverse and healthy options -- plus better presentation and taste.

Each ship has its own cooking staff, but overall, Carnival's food is much better than that of Royal Caribbean's ships.

  4. Yes! I just came back from a Carnival cruise and it was all about the food! They have a different dinner menu every night, and the food is delicious!

  5. I have never heard of bad food on any Cruise....in fact most folks always add a few pounds and belt notches!

  6. It depends on what type of food you like? are you a regualar out to eat person like do you like TGIFridays and burger King or are you an up scale eater? The Cruise will have food for every persons tastes! I think if your more of a up scale eater then you might not so so impresseed with their selections- except for a captins dinner night- but other wise you will be fine. Royal Caribean had a better selection though.

  7. The food is wonderful. In the main dining rooms, if you don't like something you've ordered, you can always order something else! You've already paid for your food, so eat as much as you want. If you're still not satisfied? Hit the buffet!

  8. It depends.  I have been on Carnival in the Caribbean and the food was moderate.  However Carnival in Europe has wonderful food.

Royal Caribbean always has better food than Carnival, in my opinion.  Their midnight buffets are to die for!

  9. The food has been good on all cruise's i've been on.  They have tons to offer (hamburger and hotdog stands, pizzeria, buffet, dining room...)  So you will be happy.  I personally prefered R.C food, but I still got plenty of good food on carnival.

  10. I have been on one cruise and it was carnival last year, and i'm booking another for april this weekend. So i can't compare it to other ships, but i will say its good enough that i am going on another cruise. If it was bad i wouldnt be going on another. TRUST ME!!!

Is it GREAT????? No. Is there always something to eat  that is good? yes.

Do you like mcdonald fries? They have the closest thing to it!

The pizza and sandwhich shop thats open till midnight or so is really good. Is it great? No, but it hit the spot.

The Main Dinner Meals where tasty. Great? No?

Think of it as the same quality you would get from an applebees or that class of restaurant. Or a wedding from a good caterer. Would i ever buy a steak from applebees? No, but i wouldnt complain if it was on my plate. Nothing is going to remind you of Mortons.  The foods are simple.

But the Fries are excellent! and the Mango Salsa on Taco night is to die for.

The Desserts are nothing to write home about. Actually, they kinda suck! But the frozen Yogurt machine made up for it in my mind.

Carnival is basically a low budget cruise. If you paid over 400 for a 5 day trip , then your getting ripped off. Enjoy the time with your friends & Fam, enjoy the blue water, sunny skies, french fries, silly shows, and you will have a blast. Don't take it to seriously as its a budget cruise! Have fun!
