  3. It Depends, mainly if you go to a chineese resturant they have an alchoholic and western menu but if you go to something called Yum-cha where you choose from a trolley what you would like its is mainly all the time 100% authentic chineese style.

  4. I found that any chinese food outside of china is not authentic. There are many different variations of certain dishes in China. Each province have their own speciality dishes. Some very spicy while others very mild. It's all a matter of taste. whether you like or not.

  5. chinese restaurants filled with westerners (eg, flower drum & silk in melbourne) are westernized

    but those filled with asian people (eg, restaurants in box hill area, melbourne) are authentic as they try to maintain the original flavour
