Is the fred bear razorhead broadhead any good

i have 1 more question i just started bow shooting recently and im not exactly sure what the the grain of the broadhead means, what grain of broadhead is best for a longbow?

  1. depends on your arrow weight.....I use a 50 pound recurve and I use 125 grain broadheads.......I use wood arrows and i don't weigh them......I use Zwickey 2 blade and they fly good


  2. 100 to 125 grain should do just fine and the Fred Bear Broadhead should do just fine

  4. The Fred bear razorhead has killed thousands of deer- they are a good broadhead and work well. Their only drawback, is the point has a tendency to curl over when it hits bone. The Zwickey broadhead will penetrate completely through a steel barrel with out any harm done to the head.- The grain of a broadhead pertains to the weight of the broadhead- most traditional shooters prefer a head in the 135-160   grain range to give them a little more heavier arrow to penetrate better.
