Is the friday the 13th series over?

hey i just got 2 of the movies jason lives and the new beggining and i was thinking there should be 13! but i think its over!

No, I wouldn't necesarilly say the series is over because there is a Friday the 13th remake in development and it's coming out in February 2009. From what I read on Wikipedia, the film will be a combination of the first three movies but will have a more in-depth story about Jason himself, basically like how he got to doing what he does and so fourth.

look it up online for the number made, if there are not 13 it may not be. but it also maybe do to no more good ideas for Jason to scare people with!
