  1. If you are asking whether the index of refraction of the material affects the fringe spacing, the answer is "no".

    One does not "correct" the frequency" of incident light using "n".  The patten is caused by allowing photons to pass through "slits".  The path difference determines whether the interference is constructive or destructive.  There is no photon path that is through the material being compared to one that is not.

  2. well the spacong depends on the wavelength which depends on the speed of light in the material (as the frequency doesn't depend on the material)
