Is the fuji film fine pix camera really not compatible with vista?

I'm considering buying the fuji film fine pix camera and I was looking at the specs and it says its not compatible with vista. Is that true? my friend has the same camera and she uses vista.

  1. Perhaps when you connect the camera to the computer via a USB cable.

    Better yet--use a Card Reader (cheap, under $20 or so)--you can download all the photos from the memory card without having to install driver (software) for it.

  3. I looked at the link as well as Fujifilm's site and nowhere did it see that the camera (actually the software) will not work with Vista.

    Where did you hear this?  Since your friend has had  no problem using her camera with Vista, I would ask her about her experience.

    Even if your camera could not be used with Vista (not yet confirmed), most of us use card readers to copy our image files to our computers, so it really does not matter which OS you are using.
