Nope.  The US dollar is being held low to encourage other nations to purchase US goods, thus adding capital to our cash strapped economy.

Um, no.  Not everything is made out of the country.  There are plenty of things still made here.  People who do not shop at Wal-mart already know this.

No, the US government stopped floating the dollar for several reasons.  One of the main reasons is to retain the dollars buying power within the country.  The Dollar is 1 to 1.6 to the Euro, but the dollar has far more buying power than Euro does in the EU.  Increasing the dollar's value will cause internal inflation

Another reason is to slow down outsourcing and globalization may making it  far less profitable . 8 years ago in China you get an exchange rate of 9 to 1 now its 6 to 1

China is also dealing with price hikes, so it's a less attractive option to buy from overseas.

Personally i think the government INTENTIONALLY let in illegal immigrants in a backwards conservative idea of hiring cheap labor to increase big business profits (ever notice how dramatic of an increase there has been in illegal immigrants from 2000 to 2008?). The idea has obviously backfired, and now they don't know how to get rid of them.

NO. My opinion is "Dollar Devaluation", is to eradicate the middle class, and turn America into a third world country.Turning America into a third world country will cause panic. The government(new world order) will step in, provide a "solution"...and finish creating the one world government, by creating a North American Union....Open borders, Canada, America, Mexico...this will make for one currency, new constitution, new laws...
