Is the government hiding aliens from us?

I certanly do believe that aliens are real. There are lots of sighting all around the world even by our ancestors. There was even one time that a police man got attacked by an alien that flew. He was knocked unconsious. Later on he was tested for drugs an brain stuff said that he had not recently had any hollucinations. They are obviously here, and we seem ready enough to accept the fact that we're not alone. Why would the government hide this from us?

if the aliens actually made contact with us that means their technologies are far more advanced than us. They would either enslave us or eradicate us all, whats the point of hiding?

I think they are. Why? Because this is the government we are talking about. When have they ever told the truth about anything. They have hidden so much from us and will continue to do so. I'm sure the human reaction has something to do with it. The fear of not wanting to leave your home, etc. But sometimes it's better to know then not to know. When they gonna tell us - when it's too late?

Because they are aliens themselves and don't want us to know (just joking). I don't think that beings from another planet exists but I do think that demon spirits do come in the form of those beings. Demons are able to come in any form.

The government is hiding the truth from us. They have known for a long time. They just don't think we are ready to know yet. And they are right. There would be mass hysteria. Look what happened when they did the War of the Worlds thing on the radio in the 50's. I think that was a test to see how we would react. It is sad that we don't like people that are a different color then we are. How do you think those same people would react to something from another world. I don't think we as the human race will ever be ready. And that is a very sad thing.

No, it's the other way around.  The aliens are using the Government in order to remain hidden.  They've been in control for decades.

Do you really think, if a superior life form had contacted us, and really WANTED us to know they were there?  or were trying to contact or demolish us, that the GOVERNMENT could do anything to hide them from us?

I'm sure we are not the only intelligent life forms in the Universe, but I'm sure that if they were out there, contacting Earth, we would ALL know about it.
