Have regulations protecting the public gone too far?

Has business been favored over the public?

Is it time for a realignment, or are we just right?

  1. Nobody wants a goddamned hippie Lib in the White House. You're far-out agendas are too much for me.

    McCain '08

  2. Too far left........Nancy Pelosi and gang has stopped Bush every time he has tried to open up drilling.  for the last 2 years we have had a do nothing but spend Congress that wants to invade our lives with more moratoriums imposed on the people.  Pelosi does not want to drill she has a LOT of money in wind energy and she needs to keep the price of gas high.

Our government has failed us and it is getting worse.  We need a no spend, no earmark, cut fraud President.  That is McCain!!!!

  3. It is too far to the left.

  4. One Trillion dollars in government spending, out of control domestic spending, massive dept, activist judicial system, and a ruling class that is above the law, I would say that it is not only tilted to far to the left, but close to a falling into the pit of depravity known as socialism/Communism. Thanks to the free spending democrats and liberal republicans.

  5. To far to the left, no. To far to the right, no. To far backwards, bingo.

  6. Right now we have  a good check and balance going on in the government with a Republican President and a Democratic Congress. If Obama wins then it will be far left, if McCain wins it will be far right. I believe that we need a little of both!

  7. The idea is to split the country up as much as possible into as many divisions that will fit into our little culture, as the right and left, red and blue, etc., to keep us distracted from the criminals behind it all.

  8. In my opinion, it is obvious. Under George W. we have gone way too far to the right.

  9. It's tilted slightly farther left than I'm comfortable with.

But elect Obama and it will take a giant leap left. It may even hit the left side stops.

  10. Congress is too far to the left when it spends more money than people will be able to afford in taxes in the future.

Congress has only a 9% approval rating, and polls show that they are far to the left of most americans.

However, i think that government will always be to the left of most of america because it will always want to spend more of the peoples money to look like they are doing a lot to help people and to make their friends rich.

I think the energy issue shows that congress is very far to the left.  Obama, for example, is against drilling for oil and against nuclear power and for taxing oil companies, all of which would make gas more expensive.  Electric cars dont work yet and gas prices really hurt poor people, so being this far to the left is just silly.  Making gas expensive doesnt really help the environment,  it just makes it harder to pay our bills.

  11. To far left, we need a fiscal conservative Republican in office, to bad we have a Centrist and a far left wing nut running for the office!

  12. Congress is way to the left.

  13. Fiscally, we are way to far left. We need to control government spending and reduce the size of government.

With fiscal control, the rest of our government policies will fall into line by default.
