Is the green paste from the California Maki dangerous?

when i go to a restaurant callled TOKYO-TOKYO and i love the california maki. I have been mentioned a small green paste in there. I don't know if it is dangerous. Is it dangerous?

  1. it is definately not dangerous, just spicy


  2. The green paste is Wasabi.  It's a relative of horseradish and it's very spicy, but delicious in small amounts.  The only way it would hurt you is if you were to eat it all in one bite, or if you were allergic to it!  I like a teeny bit on grilled chicken, too!
