Is the gyro for a bmx suppored to slide back and forth when you move the handlebar?

i got a dk Cincinnati bike and when i move my handlebars left the gyro slips back and when i move it right it moves froward?tell me if its normal thanks

u might have it on wrong

ive owned bikes like that and im not sure if it should move

i had that exact same bike and yea thats just how it works its probably because the ends of the cables are going over each other and its fine dont worry about it
