a pretty large bunch of tourists, say about a group of 20 to 30?

is it a tourist attraction?

yes,it is tourist attraction and open from 09 am till 02 pm and you can visit it with the Coptic museum and old Cairo.

The Hanging Church is built into the walls of the water gate of the Roman fortress and is possibly the oldest Christian church in Egypt. Dedicated to the Virgin Mary, it is one of Cairo's most beautiful churches.

a priest welcomes you and shows you around , explaining what is there .

this needs a day other than Sunday so that the Church would be empty and the priest would be free.
