Is the iPhone 3G worth to buy, or are they coming out with a better model soon?

if you are asking if they will come out with a new iphone before you contract ends on your iphone 3g, the answer is yes.  based on their past, apple will probably release a new iphone in 8 months to a year.  its a great phone, and i have a lot of friends that have one and love it, but a new version is bound to come out by the end of 2009.

Yes, rumors have it in approximately another year.  But if it is that drastic of an upgrade they will probably allow you to cancel your contract (like how Apple dealt with the iPhone 3G.)  So if you buy the iPhone 3G now, and they come out with a better one, you could sell your old one on eBay and get the new one when it comes out!  (That is what I plan to do!)

If you are wanting the latest and greatest, stick to a year contract.  Apple typically updates their products on a yearly cycle.   You should be near your last or second last month of a year contract by the time the next one comes out and typically the last month of your contract is when you get the best deal on phone upgrades.
