I think so.  Many of the top scientists that have been listed as being a part of this "global warming" scam have requested to be taken off that list.  They say that from their research C02 levels are related to temperature changes only in that they go up after the temp goes up.  You see, the temperature goes up first.  So the "greenhouses gases" goes up afterwards.  They are not the cause.  

These "top scientists" say that the sun is the true culprit.  They say that it's the sun's activity that is causing our global temp to rise.

The Earth is not the only planet that is getting warmer.  Mars, Pluto and other worlds in our solar system are getting warmer as well.  I don't think human beings could possibly be blamed for that!

yes it is a political tool. Climate change is a normal process; temperatures have increased and decreased for the entire history of the earth. We are in a warming phase now, which will be followed by a cooling phase.

No, it's science.  No offense, but I'm not really interested in what some video on Google says.  I care what climate scientists and their data say.  What they show is that human CO2 emissions are causing the planet to warm.  Summary of the evidence in the link below.

It is a political tool and nothing more than an excuse to raise or add taxes on people who are already stretched to the limit financially.  It's about control.  Obama wants the USA to be a nanny state, so hang on to your kids and don't punish them or they will be taken away and you as a new mother will be forced to pay several thousand dollars because of the "carbon footprints" the child has.

Clearly, global warming has become a funding train for climate scientists and everyone else trying to hitch a ride.  As one of the guys pointed out, if you suggest some climate catastrophe, it becomes easy to look around the world for anecdotal evidence.   I work with several geologist (environmental consultants) and interestingly, not a single one of them believes that humans are responsible for harmful warming and two are extremely liberal which I must admit surprised me a bit since it is so often believed based on political beliefs.  I think geologist have a greater tendency to look at history and not just the last 30 years.  30 years is a blip in time to a geologist.  When you start focusing on short time intervals, it is easy to be mislead.

if I haven't totally lost my mind - the Irish Potato famine was  due to what later was determined by scientists to be a warming trend, yep found the link in 1845- 1849 a warm wet trend allowed a blight to thrive. I knew I had read that somewhere.

But besides that famine- what about the dinosaurs? What caused them to go extinct? Or any other species that is no longer on earth for that matter? Changes in our environment.

Man has evolved through the millennium due to changes in our environment that is undeniable- what makes folks think that nothing will change geologically unless man is responsible when long before history was recorded the Earth was changing not only the climate but the very geography?

I mean people really need to realize that we are not the center of the universe- long before man was a defining force in world events the world changed.

I do not believe that man is causing global warming. Scientists have already discovered that there were previous periods of global warming followed by ice ages. I see our situation as that of a pendulum. It has a slow swing that goes from ice age, through a normal period, and finally into a warming period. It then swings back rapidly to the ice age. What I see is that man is intensifying the swing through the warming period. As a result, the return to the ice age will be far more severe. The key thing is that global warming is a natural phenomenon. We are just making it worse.

I have emailed 3 of the most knowledgeable climatologists who back the man made global warming belief.

I have asked all three to expain how over millions of years the earth has gone into ice ages(large and small) and how the earth warmed it's way SEVERAL degrees coming out of each one....for example the earth has warmed some 16 degrees F since the last ice age.

This all occurred before the first car or industrial plant. So, if can get this straight, it was possible for the earth to warm several degrees without man's help several times over the years. But, the warming between 1974 and 1998 had to be caused by man?

I'm tired of the hyperbole on both sides of this...I want facts. And I can't seem to get a solid answer about the earth's previous warming and how it fluctuated so many degrees before we were adding C02.

Yes.  We should note that Mars atmosphere is 95% co2 or 320,000% greater than here on Earth yet temperatures are even colder than we first thought.

Yep. It is a well-funded hoax. An artificially inflated crisis designed to frighten the people of the world further into submission.

CO2 is less of a greenhouse gas than water vapor (so should we tax clouds as well?), and moreover, humans are responsible for less than 3% of the total CO2 in the atmosphere.

From the 1940's until the 1980's, the Earth experienced a significant cooling period, despite the fact that industrial production and release of CO2 vastly accelerated during this time.

It is only erroneous computer generated models that suggest CO2 causes global warming, and such programs were created by "scientists" whose funding is contingent upon their ability to "prove" the hypothesis of man-made global warming. On the other hand, ice core samples (collected in REALITY) have proven that CO2 levels are actually driven by global climate change, not the other way around.

The Earth is currently in a cooling cycle. Look it up. More CO2 just means MORE PLANTS! CO2 is GOOD! This isn't just basic science, it should be common sense! I can't believe how gullible some people are...

It's not, and I don't have to watch your video to find this out.  Scientists have been worried about global warming due to carbon dioxide for over 50 years.  The first paper on it was in 1938, partially based on the work of John Tyndall in the 19th century.  Global warming is not about government, it's about physics.

Governments make laws to govern people, but the laws of physics supersede them.

No, actually it's a scientific reality that we are causing the climate to warm and there will be significant consequences if we don't do anything in response to the warming.

There are always people that will use things as a political tool, but that doesn't mean what's being used isn't real.  Politicians used the danger of cigarette smoking for political purposes, but surely you wouldn't deny that there really is a health risk to smoking?

You can learn a lot more about global warming by reading information from actual scientific research organizations that are studying the climate, than you'll get from propaganda movies:
