  1. Depends on what 'greater' means. Imagination is better because we can be what we are not, and reality may be better simply because imagination is not real. If I am to chose, I'll select reality..less problem. I want my feet to feel the true ground.

  2. No,imaginations are in mind, while reality is the unbreakable source of knowledge. Imaginations, knowledge can be used to understanding it. Greatness of imagination or greatness of reality in this sense depends upon satisfaction of the preciver. The preciver's imagination is depend upon knowledge of reality.

  3. I don't see how it could be. Reality is the totality of all that exists. Imagination exists only in species, and then only in species with imaginative powers.

  4. I don't know about everyone else, but my imagination sometimes takes over reality completely. So my answer is yes.

If our senses are the only things that show us reality even exists, and our senses are caused by our brain, then isn't is possible that reality is a figment of our imagination?

  5. The realm of imagination is the most human one in existence. If I can imagine something then it is entirely my own creation. I am free from the laws of gravity, I am free from real world limitations, yet it is not "real".

The question becomes then "why would I wake from a dream when the world is worse?" and it is quite a difficult question to answer. The answer however, is an individual one. I, for example, know that "ignorance is bliss" but I'd rather have the truth, the real world.

In my opinion, what is greatest is the intersection and interaction of these two options. It is when man's imagination affects reality (with inventions and innovations) that we differ from the animals, and when we become, in essence, gods... and who wouldn't want to have that power?

All in all, a dream can be perfect, but it can never be real yet through dreams, we can perfect the world.

  6. If imagination and reality are not aligned, it won't create.

  7. Not in size, that's for sure. Even if it has no limits, neither does reality. But since we'll never be able to fully experience reality, it's kinda hard to tell.
