Is the imposition of sanctions on states the best way to end child labour?

That may work though there are other things such as Fair Trade Practices,  Laws Against Child Labour, Civic Currency, End of Free Trade. Boycotts of soft drinks, shoes, and other things from companies which do like Coca Cola. Soft Drinks are easy to boycott but shoes less so. Another point sanctions can harm people in countries they are put on.

There is an international duty on governments to uphold the dignity of man. This can only be done with the independence gained from education, a good quality of life and independent income. Child labour destroys the creativity and innocence of the young, and must be stopped.
