Is the intake heat riser needed in the summer ?

Question

I live in a country where the temperature reaches 40c in summer, and the intake manifold gets too hot to touch, should I disconnect it ??

just leave it a lone. you cant fix things that are not broken... cars intake manifold  and the cars exhaust manifold .. will always be too hot to touch if the has been running

No it should not be disconnected but if it is going onto the exhaust you could move it away from there. Just have it on the exhaust during colder weather. Goodluck. h
