Yes, if an open and free WLAN is available. Otherwise you pay for the service one way or another, usually through a data plan included in the contract.

i think it depends on the service provider. they will charge based on the usage. or you can try one time going on-line and see if it notifies you will be charged for the usage then off-course you will have to pay for using the internet.
