    It's a seperate island, but I suppose you could say it was part of the United Kingdom.


  2. the isle of wight is an english island and county,it is 3 miles off the coast of great britain in the english channel,it is down south of england,it is closest to the english mainland county of hampshire and the stretch or water between the two is called the solent.hope this helps you.
