Is the job market still hot in Alberta, Canada ? Is the economy holding steady,growing or slowing down ?

I am asking for a family of 3 ( 2 adults,1 child ,2 dogs).I have asked a similar question in the past and the family did not move at that time.The subject of moving has come up again.I wonder if the high cost of living, finding affordable accomodation,etc. makes it worthwhile for them to move. Any input will be appreciated.

Yea alberta living is expensive but they also pay 13 dollars an hour to work at mc donalds, or 15 an hour to work driving a fork lift. So depending on how many hours a day your willing to work and how qualified you are for more advanced positions it very well could be worth your while.  I  myself choose to work from home as well as have a full time career and well needless to say im laughing when it comes to finances. (im in edmonton)
