  1. idk use google they will know

  2. Yes Dell are American and yes no doubt a 1525 laptop will be cheaper:  $499 (£267.25) as opposed to £329.  It is not greatly cheaper though.

  3. hmm dells tend to be slightly cheaper in america, however the shipping cost to ship it over to the uk would be huge.

i reccomend you buy the inspiron 1525 from the uk as you have to pay no shipping costs

these are the laptops you are after http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/produc...

i recomend you get the second one across at £399 as the extra money you pay will be well worth it

let me walk you through whats good about it

    1# Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor

This is a realy good processer and is realy fast and will work real well for you

    2# 2048MB ram

this is very nice as it will alow your computer to run at super speed and will alow you to do some good multittasking

    3# 160 gb hard drive

this is pretty decent as it has such a high memory capasity and will be great for storing big files

    4# 8x DVD+/-RW Optical drive

this is a realy decent cd rewrighter driver as it will alow you to burn data to blank disks

  4. Dell are American, but computers for the UK market are actually made in Ireland.  There'll be little in it price-wise, especially when you consider Customs Duty and Import VAT.
