For well over a month now

The positions look frozen .

For me many unrecorded best answers ago

could it be hanky or panky ?

No kidding!  I looked into getting a Yahoo! Answers meeting go in Chicago and found no help from the staff here, or even given some direction based on how the event went in DC.

Time to give the d**n Y!A Hamster a boot in the butt and get things done here!

I have zero understanding of the "leader" boards.  I've been receiving a "top contributor" status in the agriculture section for a couple of weeks now.  However it seems to be for maybe 1/2 a day then gone, then reappears a few days later.  Weird, and slightly annoying.  

I gave up looking at them a while ago, because they never seem to update.  I just prefer to pay attention to the folks who contribute frequently, and know what they are talking about, even if I don't agree with them every time.

Hah yeah it hasn't updated in ages.  I'm wondering if I'm catching up to Jelly boy in global warming best answers, but there's no way to know!
