Yes, thery are.  Palin is a REAL American. A plain, normal American. I would vote for the ticket even if she were heading it. I like that pick. What a refreshing thought. God bless this great nation, and God bless the team of McCain-Palin.

Obama's path to where he is compared to Palin's path is eye opening.  Obama used the Chicago Dem Party Machine to get to where he is.  Palin opposed her party at every step along the way.  She is like the old movied, "Mr Smith Goes to Washington" with Jimmy Stewart.  Outsider comes to Washington and won't play the game.  

You forgot that of all four candidates, the Palin Family is a Labor Union family.

What should turn them on is blue collar and union and of course they'll hate everything else she stands for, in particular, anything having to do with morals.

I'm a fiscal conservative and more liberal socially, but I like her strength and stamina and the fact that she fights corruption within her own party.  This is what we need, not some Washington insider, who won't!

If she has the political skills of Hillary she will be terrifying, but  she will probably make major gaffs because she has  not been  in national politics, and be a distraction not an asset to McCain.  

Biden has a working class background  also,  and only McCain came from a privileged one.
