  1. Its very safe, and doesn't run after half past midnight anyway so there's no danger at night.

Night buses, which run all night, are also safe but often full of drunks.

  2. Yes, mate.  The tube is pretty safe.

  3. Yeah its safe. The only time it may be a bit uncortable is at night when you're near the end of a line, as its usually deserted.

  4. No its not when i went to london the tube had to be detoured as there was a man on the tracks............DEAD!

  5. I'm from the US but I've been on the underground several times when I've visited England. I've found that it's very safe, maybe even more so than the New York subway.

I would say that it would be most likely to be unsafe at night, which was the time that I avoided it.

  6. I travel on the tube practically every day and I've never had a problem.. I've even caught the first train at 5:30am and even then, I didn't see any dodgy people.  I guess it depends where you're going... I catch the Met and Jubilee/Bakerloo lines mostly and I never feel unsafe. I guess if you were catching the Victoria line into Brixton late at night, you might feel a little unsafe, especially if you're alone but I'm sure nothing would happen to you.
