Is the loss of U.S manufacturing at the root of all our problems ?

With all our manufacturing jobs being sent overseas doesn't that equal loss of purchasing power for other U.S industries ? Resulting in the overall state of our economy, Unemployed and under paid workers can no longer purchase new homes, Buy new cars, or even eat out at nicer places regularly, So does it pay to purchase foreign made products ? Although our produced goods are available overseas loyalty to their own countries goods prevent an equal trade balance , so why do we support buying their goods to our further own demise ? Yes certain individuals benefit from a global economy and large corporations, but the vast majority of workers and small business owners lose , Importers and related sellers do great but thats about it, For those that argue against, What has changed ? More imports and a shift of wealth. It's a hot topic , So please present only intelligent opinions pro and con.

The middle class in the US is being wiped out because it was the number one political power base . The elite had to do this to reestablish there supreme power over the country and the world .

Too much outsourcing and not enough spending within our own economy. Our laziness and great ability as Americans to "manage" rather than work ourselves. We are spending way too much money on other parts of the world, and now its kicking us in the buttox! Look at many of the countrys around the world. They are all in a thriving state....such as india which is considered a booming country right now. On top of this, we are literally spreading ourselves too thin. Just like the Romans we are trying to have a hand in every burning pot because we feel we have the "most humane" ways of handling punishement. Our liberal politically correct ways have put way too much of a "chokehold" on Americas ability to change in any way but into what we have already become. We can not stand up for our rights, nor express true emotions without the fear of persecution whether it be mentally, physically, or simply from laziness.

The best thing happening right now is the going green idea. Only problem is people blatantly dont give a rats *** about it. If people could just stfu sometimes and throw there trash away, turn a light off, save energy; things can change. It sucks to see people not participate in such a great thing, especially when its just a "cool" thing not to go green! Ive ranted on enough, hope this helps!
