I am wanting to become a nurse, but I am not the best when it comes to math. Who here was not good at math, but still managed to get through nursing school successfully? This is what worries me the most about nursing school, because I don't want it to hinder my abilities of becoming a successful nurse in the future.

  1. talk to your advisor about the RN program pre reqs -the can vary by school.

  2. i didnt have trouble in the math, but a lot of my friends and class mates did and they made it through. dont worry about it youll be fine. there is also a Math for Nurses you can take in most universities. i know it was used as an elective for my program. the math is not as hard as you think.its pretty basic. like if the doctor order 50mg of a medication and you have 25mg tablets, how many tablets would you give? 2 ..stuff like that. it does get a little more complex when you get into the drip factor and stuff. but your instructors should be more than willing to help. im sure youll be ok. ive seen the worse or the worse get it. good luck and let me know if you need help, ill be more than willing.
