sport compact because with some mods u can turn it into a sport car it all has to do with size and power to weight ratios

Nope. It is classified as an economy compact car like Honda Civic and Toyota Corolla and Nissan Sentra.

It is the base model and a 4 door car. Sporty looking and feels sporty to drive, but not a sports car by insurance standards.

the mazda speed 3 or the mazda 3 sedan? it's not considered a sports car, but the mazda 3 is one of the fastest mazda cars out there. my step-dad owns a mazda dealership and he lets me test-drive vehicles they get in. i was driving behind a mazda 3 and oh man. it was soooo much fun. though i didn't go the full-blown speed, i did hit 112mph rather quickly. i love mazdas <3. i love cars period.
