Is the membership list accurate? Can people unsubscribe and still be on that list?

Our Yahoo! Group lists a membership of 1,800 people. I am just curious if that is how many people have joined over a period of time, or it is accurate as of today?

It is the accurate total at the time you view it on your group.  When a person's unsubscribe process is completed, the membership total is adjusted accordingly.  (They will stay on the M list until the process is completed)

the accuate number is located on your group- near settings. it will reflect when people leave or join the group. the directory often takes much longer to update unsubs and joining members
