I never got to see any meteors because it was cloudy most of the time.

  1. no. it's a fairly broad peak. a day or two either way will still show you meteors.

  2. No you can still see a million meteors when you look up into the sky.

  3. The Perseids is one of the broadest meteor showers during the year. Perseids are visible for a couple of weeks before and after the peak on August 12. In fact, you can observe meteors on any night of the year if you go to a dark location after midnight, let your eyes get dark adapted, and then spend at least half an hour looking.

  4. Forget the shower, take a bath instead. Candles around the tub are nice too.

  5. The peak (about one a minute) is over but there will be sightings for the rest of the month at a much reduced rate.

  6. We're passed the peak of the meteor shower, but you still might see a few meteors if you are lucky and the sky is clear and dark for the next few days.

  7. The peak was the morning of Aug. 12th. It was very cool, I stayed up till 5am watching. I saw a lot of shooting stars, some small ones and some really big ones. :D i loved it, i'm sorry that it was cloudy in your area. In my area, the past two days the sky has been absolutely clear.

This morning Aug. 13th there were some showers as i've heard, but it wouldn't be as much as the peak. I don't think there would be that many the morning of Aug. 14th. There would be some but they would be small ones and there wouldn't be that many. It wouldn't be as exciting.

    But maybe next year? :)

  8. You have missed the peak, But,

You will still be able to see some tonight, just less frequent, so if you have the patience, go for it - i am!

They will slowly decreas in frequency for the next week or so untill they are no longer present.

    =)
