  1. It was 12 pesos to the dollar in 1976. That currency has been all over the map for the past 100 years.


  2. There was a new, revalued peso issued in '93 at about 3 pesos to the dollar.  It is about 10 pesos to the dollar now.

  3. The current eachange is $10.30  peso for every 1 US Dollar. For ex. a $10 US Bill will get you $130 peso.

    Just add a '0' to the ending value of your monetary holdings that you want to exchange into Mexican Pesos, and their you have it!

  8. Last time I was in Mexico it was 2400 pesos to the American dollar and that was 2001.  It changes and you should only go to a bank to get that info.

  9. I was in Mexico last week and it was at about 10 pesos to the dollar like someone else already said.

    If your going to go to Mexico, change your money into pesos at a bank when you first get there and just don't use dollars at all. The vendors will take advantage of you and will take it for less than its worth. As soon as they see colored eyes and dollar bills they take us for idiots and try to pretend a dollar is only worth 8 pesos.

  11. The last time I checked about four months ago it was about 10.5.  But by looking at John K's answer, I'm guessing the US dollar is falling even more because it's closer to 10 now.  I think Ron Paul is right, the US dollar is going to collapse.  It's sad really...
