  1. some places  do as long as u have gd credit..


  2. 18 is a legal age. The problem is a lot of landlord won't rent to anyone that young. I've been a landlord for over 25 years and I won't.  

  3. Those are two very different questions.  The answer to the first, is,  yes, the minimum age to rent an apartment is 18.  Before you turn 18, legally, you aren't responsible for things you sign so no one will rent (or sell on credit, etc.) to someone below 18 years of age.

    The second question is different.  I would say that most apartments would not rent to 18 year olds.  They are traditionally not terribly responsible and are generally college students with spotty income histories.  If you had a good income source that was reliable and were mature, you might have a decent shot.  If you are a rowdy college student?  Forget it!
