Question:

Is the mold on my clothes truly out?

I got some wet clothes, I had to put them in a bag and I was unable to go to the laundry (no money) and they got mold on them! I took them to the laundry today, washed them alone, in hot water and soap. The pants were sweats, and I didn't have money for bleach or vinegar. They came out smelling great! But the shirt had dark spots from the mold where it had been. I didn't care about the spots I just wanna know if its truly gone. I wouldn't want to get a rash or something.

  1. It's probably dead, but mildew weakens fibers, so don't be surprised if you get holes there later.

If you've got damp clothing, spread it out so it can dry, then put it in your laundry bag.

  2. if it doesnt smell or  anthing should be alright...

bi-carb soda usualy gets it out

  3. The black is mould stain - it will fade eventually.   They mould itself is gone.

    Never leave your clothes wet.

If you get stuck handwash them in your bath ,shower, kitchen sink  - wherever you can.    Wring them out as hard as you can then hang over something to dry.

Change their position each day to make sure they dry evenly and dont get smelly.

NEVER leave wet clothes lying around - you can always wash them by hand with shower soap if you get desperate.
