Is the money good being a tutor at home?

What are the hours per hour?

Is it any good? I'm doing nothing half the time and thought may aswell do it!

Hi miss, no idea what the going rate is but you are worth 25 per hour I am sure.... charge any less and it will make your clients question your quality as a tutor.... after all you get what you pay for !.... you make good money when i say good money incredible money, im no tudor but ive been tudored, and if your in a good area and alot of people know about you you will make amazing money, usually the way my tudor does it is one hour sessions, and its 85 $$$ a session. and shes busy, she probably has 10 sessions a day . so think about that, your making 850 $ a day? i hope that answers your question.

Start out by charging as much as you would be comfortable charging. If you get a lot of business, you can raise your rate gradually. If you get little or no business, you may have to lower the rate. Tutors who earn higher rates are usually highly qualified, with teaching credential or advanced degree. It also depends on the area where you live. Rich people think if they pay more they will get more, but poor people deserve your best at a discount.
