Arjun singh is the brain behind the monster. He started this in the name of reservation for OBC. Now the gujjars got what they wanted with agitation. It is high time there should be national policy and change in constitution so that all indians who are economically poor be given their due share.

Or else such agitations will continue from different castes and minorities. And the pandoras box will open. It will be beyond control. What is your openion?

  1. The egg was laid over sixty years ago.  It had been taken care of by many politicians.  It was born during V.P. Singh's time.  It is being nurtured by Arjun Singh.  Soon, it will grow old enough to swallow India.  The irony is that both V.P. Singh and Arjun Singh are supposed to belong to royal families.  I have my doubts.  Royalties treat all their subjects as equal.  No one is great or small in their eyes.  Such is not the case with V.P. Singh and Arjun Singh.

Arjun Singh's justice, a case study:  Year: 2006. Season: Winter, just before Christmas.  A lady around 70+ was begging on the road draped in a single saree and bare foot.  I brought her home, fed her and gave her clothes, chappal and some money.  On talking to her I learnt her crime was:  SHE WAS A BRAHMIN.

Is Mr. Arjun Singh listening or is he snug in his comfortable airconditioned home?

Do good for all irrespective of their caste, colour or creed.  We are all Indians.

  2. What the heck are you talking about? A little foreword, please?

  3. The Bhagwad Gita has clearly voiced that it is the vocation of an individual which classifies him or her as Kshatriya (warrior), Brahmin (learned man), Vishya (bussinessman) and Shudra (menial labourer) and which we identify today as 'Castes". This means that in the house of a Shudra can be born a Brahmin . So also can a Kshatriya be born into a household of a Vaishya. And so on and so forth. The basis was the pursuit of knowledge & prowess in their respective fields.

Today the people have lost faith in themselves and become spineless with a 'care-to-hoots' attitude. This is exactly the nerve on which the politicians are preying on, and we are silent spectators.

The line on the first page of our Hon. Constitution which says that 'All Indians are equal" must be changed to read like it says in George Orwell's famous book "Animal Farm" - "All Indians are equal, but some are more equal than the others."

I agree strongly that yes public funds and facilities must be used to help the "economically backward". But in our country, even a politician who owns 4 bungalows, 10 cars and has acres of property is classified as "Economically Backward". Viva La India.
