  1. No. It is much bigger.

  2. We can't say that, because Australia is more of a "surface" on Earth than a 3D object such as the moon. You may however compare the moon's circle (a great circle) or the moon's surface area instead.

  3. Not possible.

  4. But im standing on the moon

  5. no

  6. It`s about half the size of the earth.

  7. Many interesting answers here from people who, for some reason, think the moon is larger than it is.

The moon's diameter is about 3400 Km.  Australia's diameter from west to east is almost 4000 Km.  If you round it out, using the west and east coasts as a guide for making a circle, it would be bigger than the moon, if the moon was laid on top of it.  This "rounding out" would mean adding a lot of land area that isn't there, but since its width is about 500 Km wider than the moon, this isn't a terribly bad trade-off.  The sizes are comparable.

The cross-sectional area of the moon is 9,490,000 sq. Km.  The area of Australia is 7,690,000 sq. Km.  The moon's cross sectional area is larger by a fair amount, but not nearly as much as some people have been stating.  The area of the moon's whole surface is about the same as the area of Asia.

I'll be back in a minute with the actual areas.
