Is the movie "Less than Zero" very bad for 14 yr. olds?

I am a huge Robert Downey Jr. fan. And I really want to watch the movie "Less than Zero". But i've heard that it is a little too much for 14 yr. olds to handle. In other words, "bad for kids". But who knows, maybe it's not as bad for kids as people make it seem.

So I wanted to ask U if it was ?

A 14yo should be let pick the movies they want to watch by themselves. I stopped tracking my kids' movies when the oldest turned 11. they are fine now.

they always say thing like that its called a rating everything rated r and up isnt mean for a 14 year old but it never stop them does it most 14 yr olds know more then they should and can probably handle it

I am 14 and I watched it a couple weeks, ago. It was great, it wasn't bad. It shows what it's like to be addicted to drugs. I love Robert in it, he's so cute. His butt is shown in it. But I say watch it! I watched it by myself, and nothing happened!

I think I saw it for the first time when I was 15 or 16. I don't know if you'll like it, but the movie is 20 years old now and not all that intense by today's standards.
