  1. i saw knocked up. and im his age. just ket him see it

  2. I never really understood why parents were so protective about what movies their kids watch. My parents excuse was "you are too young to understand" but hey, we all learn eventually and not letting him see movie won't stop it.

That movies is a comedy and Will Ferrell comedies tend to be pretty harmless. I would just let him go.

  3. most definitely

  4. they do say the f word alot, and show will ferrells ball sack hahah

  5. The movie Step Brothers was very funny, but had strong language, and sexual content. I would say it is okay for him to see it, as long as he knows the difference between movies and reality.

  6. Why are some people so up tight about film ratings ive been watching 15 and 18s for years (im only 15) If i only watched 12 and under it would be very boring and i wouldnt be as mature as i am now .

Edit - Sorry they are the english ratings

    12 = PG13

18= R  i dont know what 15 is equal to but whatever is in the middle between those two.

  7. Up to you, but I will say there's a pretty gross, up close shot of Ferrell's, umm... bits.

Seriously.  I am 23 years old and could have gone my whole life without seeing that.

  8. If you do not mind strong language and sexual content it should be no problem.

  9. my dad beet the h**l out of me when i was scared at age 6 when i watch a the exorcist,  he told me you got balls use them, don't be afraid of no punk and die whith dignity.

your kid is probroly watching p**n or sneking up in girls skirts in school or some wird ****, let him grow up on his own dont be hes god dam shadow

  10. yes but there is ALOT of cursing, in case you dont like it. and its rated R so you should go with them because they're not allowed to see it by themselves. Plus it has s*x in it, but the people aren't completely nude, they still have clothes on. And it shows one nude body part, the testicles.

  11. yeah sure, awesome movie, some parts are not for him so just cover his eyes lol

  12. There is lots of swearing but besides that no b***s or butts or anything, a s*x scene but its basically just a huge joke, and Will Ferrels testicles. haha personally I thought it was the most hilarious movie I have ever seen, but he is a boy and by the age of fourteen the kids at my school talked a lot worse than the language you hear in the movie. Its not that bad of a movie, I saw it with my mom but I'm 18 ha, you're the mom, your choice ha.

  13. It depends on what you think is appropriate.

There's strong language, sexual content, there is a few seconds of nudity (Will ferrel's t******l), there is somewhat of a s*x scene (you don't see anything, just the woman jumping up and down right in front of him, and her screaming).

He will know what is going on, you may not think he knows what will be going on, but he will.

  14. yes it appropriate for him cause there's nothing really bad cause its only just to old guys that act like if they were little kids

  15. (Im only 11) theres very strong languge (about 50-70 words)

and some bad sexual seens but I would let him see it.

over all ots really really funny but I still think there was some unesesary parts in it. your choice.=]

  16. no. deffinatley not. there was so much crude humor and i'm sorry, it wasn't even funny. i LOVE will ferrell so it pains me to say that this movie was just way inappropriate and not very funny at all...

sorry if i offended anyone who liked it, it's just my opinion

but yea i dont think its appropriate for a 14 year old...

  17. the only thing i didnt like about the movie is when Will ferrell shows his balls.

  18. ahha its soooo funny.. but it might be akward for him at some parts

  19. Do not listen to these people. Seriously, they are messed up or something because step brothers is an INSANELY intense movie. Definitely not for anybody under 17. I mean, im 19 and I was a little shocked at certain parts. Dont get me wrong, its a good movie. But just for you and your husband. Do not let him see it. Please.

  20. well, I saw it with my friend and were both 15.

it does have a few inapropriate parts but nothing that teens 13 and older haven't seen before.

    its an incredibly hilarious movie

I mean I can understand that its rated R and you might be hesitant about letting your child see it but i assure you that if they want to see it bad enough they will tell you they're going to see a movie that's pg or pg-13 and as soon as you leave they will go to see step brothers.

trust me ive done it before and plenty of other teens have too

I would let your son see it

  21. no no no no no! i saw it last night and i would not let a 14 year old see it, they actually had people checking id's at the door which i have never seen at that theater before so that says something.

  22. The movie is rated R.  This is answer enough for me.  We have a 15 and a 13 year old who want to go to the movies with their friends tonight and they aren't allowed to see it simply because of it's rating.  After hearing what the content of the movie is, I'm glad we made this decision!

I think our rating system is too lenient already.  So if Hollywood saw fit to rate it R,   We don't want our kids to watch it.

  23. Yeahh.. You should.

My 13 year-old cousin just saw it today.

  24. heck yes

  25. It's rated R.

    So take a wild guess.

  26. the only reason it is rated that is because it throws f bombs he would definetly be fine but he has to get in with an adult oh it also has a part when will ferrel pulls out his you no uhh how can i say this balls i guess and puts them on a drum set but i think there fake so he'll be fine
