  1. i think 1 foot

  2. well lets see the difference might be ummm idk.......a foot?

  3. its a matter of choice really, I had an 8 ft and just got a 9. When i went to league play we played on 7ft, after playing on 8ft it would mess me up to switch to 7ft. I dont have this problem with 9 ft table.

  4. Nothin beats an 8 foot table with leather pockets. The gamplay is alot different, cut shots and long shots are tougher. Give it a try and let me know what you think

  5. we have a 7 ft 6' table & we had the most fun with it, & that is 6 inches less than your 8 ft table  you are talking about so maybe the 7ft one is really 6ft 6'

get the bigger one because it will look richer  & you will be more proud of it  to show off !!

as long as you have room for the bigger one

  6. The difference is 1ft(12inches). There will also be a difference in gameplay. I would advise the 7 ft because that it is the most universal and popular out of the two. Very rarely do you see 8ft tables.

  7. The following are normal playing surfaces of  pool tables:

    7'  is between 39x78 to 40x80 inches,depending on mfg

    8'    44x88

    8'    46x92  (over sized)

    9'    50x100

I have owned all of these at one time or another and presently play on 7' and 8'os.  The larger tables tend to have more lively rails and the cue will rebound more quickly.  What ever size table you get you will get used to it.
