  1. yes it is

Apostolos means someone who delivers, its Greek origin,

devires from the words apo+stelnw (from+send)

Anasthassiou is from Anastasis which is the Greek word for ressurection

    this name is 100% Greek

Vlachs (at least at greece and some other places in Balkans-not so much though)

    they are SELF-IDENTIFIED as Greeks......

if you ask them they will say I am a Vlach Greek

as there exist pontic Greeks as well...

  2. Yes it is. But is written like this: Apostolos Anastasiou.

    Apostolos(apo+stello=από+στέλλω=to send far away):

a delegate, messenger, one sent forth with orders

    a) specifically applied to the twelve apostles of Christ

    b) in a broader sense applied to other eminent Christian teachers

    1) of Barnabas

    2) of Timothy and Silvanus

Anastasiou is a Greek surname which derives from the word "anastasi" = ανάσταση which means "resurrection".

  3. I don't quite understand your question, Vlach is not a name of Greek origin.

    Vlach

    Last name origins & meanings:

Czech and Slovak: from Vlach ‘Italian’, ‘Romanian’, or ‘Wallachian’. This vocabulary word originally meant ‘foreigner’; it is cognate with German welsch meaning ‘Latin’ or ‘Romance-speaking’, and ultimately with Old English wælisc ‘foreign’ and modern English Welsh. At the time when surnames were formed, the Czech word was applied chiefly to Italians, but also to Romanians.

Czech and Slovak: from a pet form of any of various personal names beginning with Vla-, for example Vlastislav or Vladislav.

    Apostolos

    First name origin & meaning:

    Greek: Disciple

    Last name origin & meaning:

Greek: from apostolos ‘apostle’, which was used as a personal name, or a reduced form of patronymics from this name, such as Apostolakis, Apostolidis, Apostoliadis, and Apostolatos. The term apostolos was adopted by early Christians in honor of Christ’s twelve apostles and as a symbol of their own commitment to spreading the Christian message. The original meaning of the Greek word apostolos is ‘messenger’, ‘one sent with a message’, from apostellein ‘to send’. The word was used in the Septuagint as a translation of Hebrew saleh ‘messenger’, ‘apostle’.
