  1. It's beautiful - Norah Jane...what about Norah Jayne?  Up to you with spelling, just play around until you love something.

Nope, not too old ladyish.  I think its perfect :)

  2. I think it is, sorry.

  3. No, it's not dated at all.  However, due to both names being quite plain and traditional, perhaps you might like to add an 'h' to Nora, making it Norah Jane?  I think this looks and sounds more modern.

  4. i really dont like the name nora.

  5. yes, i think it's too old ladyish,... but it's really up to u...

  6. to old fashioned for me but its your baby

  7. I love the name Norah! I also adore the name Jane. So I love the name, it doesn't sound too old.

Norah is a beautiful Greek name! If you ever have another girl you can name her Chloe (also a beautiful Greek name).

  8. I think is pretty, and no I don't think its old ladyish! I think it is a unique name, and blessed by God, and that's how your baby that will wearing is blessed by God!Congratulations!!

  9. I think it's cute.  Nora is starting to become fairly popular for baby girls now.

  10. I LOVE IT. Do you like the spelling Norah better?

  11. Not at all. It's a beautiful classic and classy name.

  12. No!!!  It is beautiful congrats for picking a SANE name, and one that isn't overused and one that will GROW with your daughter.

  13. i really like old fashioned names for girls... i think what you have picked is very adorable!

  14. No, I think its adorable. You could do something like Annora, or Sennora though and call her Nora for short to make it more "fashionable". But I think its adorable the way that it is.

  15. Nora Jane is beautiful.  Both names are getting higher on the popularity charts (check the Social Security list; it gives you the top 100 names for each year) so she'll be "right in style."  It goes along with the Ella-type of name that has become popular in the last five years.

We're considering Audrey Jane for this one if it's a girl.  My sister is Jane and she was the only one in her school system without having to have a weird name.

  16. i love it...it is my great grandmas name(yes that makes it an old lady name but...i love it) and that is what i am going to name my daughter...

  17. Norah is cute..personaly id do something cute and modern for a middle name

    Norah Juliet

    Norah Claire

    Norah Isabelle

    Norah Emily

    Norah Isabella

    Norah Abigail

or if you like Jane more than do the same thing

    Isabella jane...etc

  18. They are both older names, but they are cute. And the older names are making a come back.

  19. No!!!!! It sounds great! Will this be the child's first name or first and middle name? Either sound great!!

  20. I don't think it's too old fashioned...but I think of the singer Norah Jones.

  21. Norah is a very cute name, and so is Jane, but it is slightly plain. What if you gave her two middle names, to spice things up a bit? I have a friend named Norma Jean, somewhat similar.
