Is the name "YAMMERS" reflective to what the members really are?

Question

the word "yammers" according to english dictionary - is a verb which means "complain whiningly" (means - poor losers)

is the english interpretation of the word "yammers" really reflective of the real attitude of the YAMMERS?

are the yammers really whiners?

are the yammers poor loser?

my personal opinion: i don't think so.

in this side of Y!A, i can say honestly that YAMMERS are truly passionate, amiable and full of brain-power.

Hmm... what i think about Yammers.. we are all one of the kind, creme of the crops, fabulous,gorgeous, over the top, outstanding, visionaries, trend setter, flamboyant, and most of all we are uniquely friendly haha..

lol...what can i say..Yammers are humans too..and humans are not perfect..they can complain and whine for as long as i care..no body can ever stop us from doing it..

but then, the true means of YAMmers are that we are the most vibrant section among others in the whole YA site.. we asked, we answered, we make friends, we make foes?, we laughed, we cursed and at the end YAM still have a special place in our heart..

and so i guess..describing us as poor losers are totally wrong coz those are not yammers are the one who are BIG TIME LOSERS coz they totally miss all the fun we can get in YAM!!

In the first place, we are not the YAMMERS as referred.

We are just members of Yahoo! Answers Malaysia, which logically form the word YAM.

To be a member, you are logically known as YAMmer (agree?)

So, that explains why we are not poor losers.
