  3. TO neutralize a strong acid, you need a strong base.  When you try to neutralize a strong acid with a weak base you are left with a solution that is still slightly acidic.  It all has to do with the amount of H+ that are exchanged.  So, the answer is B...slightly acidic

    For 2....the solution is acidic
