Is the new LiveScribe 1Gb pen useful to a person in Highschool?

I hope someone answers you're question I was looking into this device Have you gone to the website. I really liked the pen but unfortunately you have to use their expensive notebooks for the pen to work and the cartridges have to be replaced once they dry out. I'm actually in college.

I don't know how useful it would be to a person in highschool for someone in college a lot of what the professor says is more important than the notes he puts up on the board. Do you feel like you're teachers don't write a lot (I'm personally very bad auditory learner I'm more of a visual learner) Last semester I took my dell digital jukebox and just recorded the lectures played back later and listened and that helped.

The importance of the pen is too match auditory with you're notes so obviously if you know you have teachers that will expect you to write what they say than this pen would be really interesting. It also has a smart camera to take snapshots of the notes you write and view them on the computer.
