Is the new Sidekick 2008 any good?

I was planning to go buy it tomorrow but ive had mixed views on it. I would love to have peoples opinion on the phone.

ive never heard of sidekick 2008. the names of the new sidekicks are: sidekick lx. and sidekick slider.

The Negatives

-I HATE how it takes so long for the phone to turn on & load, with my blackberry it only took 6 seconds!

-The D Pad sucks, its hard to press down on it, and it hurts your thumb

-Speaker phone is kind of soft

-keyboard is really small, its kind of hard to text on it, if you have big thumbs don't get the 2008

-keys on keyboard are made of crappy material, makes it harder to press down on it

-even though the camera is 2 megapixel, there is no flash, no zoom, picture quality is OK as long as you have good lighting, the video recording can only record up to 20 seconds in postage stamp size and quality is really bad :/

-slow internet, but it loads the page as you would see it on the computer so thats cool

THE POSITIVES

-the plan is great, unlimited texting, internet, etc.

-significantly smaller than the older models

-not as bulky as the older models

-screen is good, high resolution

-you can set up a yahoo, msn, and aol email account on your phone and get your mail sent straight to your phone :)

-AIM works wonderfully (don't know about the other ones)

-full qwerty keyboard

-customizable shells

-the organizer

overall its a fun phone to have :)

wow i didnt even kno that wat it was called. i bet they are ok. i liked tha SLIDE better than 3. 2008 might be better.

wait for the HTC Dream and Diamond phones!!!  

in oct they will be release. with 3G and android software!
