Seems to me that the next mega-rich dynasty will come from someone who invents an alternative energy device that everyone in the world needs.

  1. Nah, we already have electric motors which are ~90% efficient.  The money is in energy storage now.  If EEStor manages to successfully make an ultracapacitor battery that gives an electric car a 250 mile range with 80 mph top speed as they've claimed, they're the next Microsoft.


  2. No.  The otto engine was developed in the 1800's.  New engine designs such as StarRotar have already been out for awhile.  Electric engines (burn coal for energy) are more efficient and on the bottom line pollute less.
